Thomson Instrument Company

Built for Thomson Instrument Company, htslabs.com is a custom WordPress theme built on foundation press. I added Angular js integration for on demand results of products and other company data. My contribution consisted of design, code, and launch of the website along with creating all photo, illustration, and video components, as well as a good portion of the textual content. To learn more about the process I took in creating this website, contact me, I'd be more than happy to discuss it with you.

NOTE: The link for this site is to the current development branch to not interfere with the company's analytics.

Print Database

Built for internal use at Thomson Instrument Company. Employees securely log in to see a display of, and have the ability to edit logistical data on company print literature such as fliers and catalogs. Hand built in PHP with a simple install script for easy deployment on servers. Feel free to log in and play with this sandboxed demo of the application using the link below and the supplied credentials.

Start (boilerplate)

Start is a go-to custom boilerplate I created. It includes everything from secure bcrypt login sporting a handful of user and admin features, to automated maintenance mode and custom gulp preprocessing to package the whole site when your ready to deploy. Start has preconfigured email and splash page settings and is lightweight enough to not get in the way with how you want to code a site. Also, if you have no need for a database a gulp command removes all database and login related files.

If you have any questions about Start or think it could work with your current project feel free to contact me as I’d be more than happy to discuss it.

Since this is a boilerplate there is no website link, it is available to fork on GitHub and the README explains most of the details.

Chords (web app)

A tiny web app for musicians that auto generates a random chord progression. It will find a key, mode (Major or minor), and set of random diatonic chords (up to 5) for the user to play with. This was born out of me looking for random progressions to play into a looper and jam along to. The full story is on GitHub. It works best on mobile and is designed to be a Progressive Web App, but works well in the browser too.
